MESSAGE
FROM THE COMMISSIONER
Pat Eng has agreed to host the Star Pot Tourney
Picnic again this fall.
Also, the Drum Rules regarding points
and money per hole will remain constant for
2001. Putt rules will remain which are inside of the leather on a
regulation
putter. Trade out putts will not be allowed and violators will be subject
to
punishment by our Sergeant-at-Arms, BINGO. The punishment will be both
physical and financial. He does not have the ability to induce any mental
form for the violation. These rules are absolutely without modification
unless the Great One wants them changed.
Your beloved and humble Commissioner,
Jake.
PS - A double bogy, or star, will cost the
offender
$1.00 from April 1 until May 1 to allow for out of condition golf. After
that date, Stars will be $2.00 until the maximum of $100.00 is given to our
Treasurer for safe keeping. Once again, the Great One can modify this
resolution without any form of Democratic input. He is the last Democrat
with
any form of power.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Alas, the Drum Game is not immune to the evils of
inflation. As you are well aware, the price of gasoline has gone through
the roof recently. You probably also know that Jake drives a Town Car, an
Explorer and a Corvette, gas-guzzlers all!
Therefore, effective May 1st, the cost of a Star will rise to $2
each, with the $100 limit still in effect.
Blame it on OPEC!
